If you are interested in buying my art, there are a couple of things you should know first.
It’s not entirely up to me what will your piece look like
Everything I create, is made out of driftwood. Sure, I add details with textile, metal, silver dipped in acid (crazy, right?), but the whole idea revolves around driftwood. I collect it at local beaches, but I never know what I’ll get. Sometimes, there’s just a bunch of small pieces and other times, I find parts of boats bigger than myself. Some were in the water for just a couple of days, while others drifted from far away, and have spent weeks or even months at sea. That affects more or less everything I do with the piece, and how it looks in the end. One thing is for sure, though—it will be 100{97c486fd65b9d751ba1c155c056566a04b768db93276e811dc4a086c02542626} unique.

Online art orders and shipping
So far, I’ve kept it pretty simple – after I finish your piece, I send you the photo of my work. You’ll also receive a private link to checkout, where you can make your payment. The costs for the shipping will be added.
I have to admit that I hate shipping. I do it all the time, but still hate it. If there’s any chance you will come to Piran anytime soon, I will gladly put your piece in my atelier and it will stay there until you pick it up.

The houses stay in Piran
The tiny houses won’t be sold online. I want them to remain a souvenir for people who have visited Piran, who have stepped into my atelier and met my art the old-fashioned way, not just with Instagram and Facebook. I can only make so many, and I want them to remain special. See you in Piran.

Only from October to April
Up to 2000 people visit Piran per day during the high season, and as you can imagine, it gets pretty wild around here. The days start at 6 in the morning and end well after midnight. Located just around from the Venetian house, Nika’s tiny house can get quite busy and there are days, when I can’t keep up and the atelier looks completely empty. Not to mention, I also host workshops from July to September, limiting my time even more. Luckily, during the winter, everything slows down a bit and I’ve got enough time to focus on more detailed art such as frames and keyholders. If you want to see what I’m talking about, you should check out my Instagram page.
